Successful transmission applicants:

By transferring calming times as your sophomore year, you can take more of your general education and election courses at USC. You will be part of the USC community for a long time and have more opportunities to engage with the life of the campus and make the connections that can help you after graduation.

If your academic record returned to high school over USC expectations, you may be able to position yourself as a stronger candidate if you complete two years of solid bachelor course work in another institution.

If you complete most of your general education requests before transferring, you have more time to track a double major major, an important minor combination or a monetary Major, while logged in to USC.

• Official final high school transcripts with date of completion.
  • students who have completed secondary school outside the US can replace a copy of a diploma or a degree.

Students must follow these revised general education requirements if they graduated in the spring or summer 2015 the high school completed full-time period of college Registration was autumn 2015 or after (without summer).

Students who started college before autumn 2015:
students started at each college or a university before the summer of 2015 will follow the GE program before autumn 2015 .

While in the residence at USC, you will also expect you:

• Complete all major divisions in your Major and Minor.
• Complete WRIT 340, a minimum of two core competence ge courses as well as all remaining general education courses that were not included before entering USC.
• Take all your autumn and spring-semester courses for credit to usc.Courses may only be included in other institutions during the summer sessions, with restrictions.

Exceptions:

Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and other standardized investigations: We accept a maximum of 32 units for standardized investigations.

Non-traditional formats / timeframes: Spacers, online courses, concentrated "intensive" sessions, special weekend modules and other non-traditional course formats and time frames.

Please note that the electoral units only - not equal USC courses or fulfillment of the requirements - are granted for foreign language and laboratory science courses, which are taught about distance lessons, TV or in an online or correspondence course.

Low notes: courses in which your touch was smaller than C- (1.7).

No degree credit: College extension courses and courses taken on international institutions are not credited to this college.

Study areas that are not offered by USC: These include land, business administrative procedures, hotel management, food services, industrial mechanics, interior design, fire science, forestry, police academy and similar expert and technical programs.

Duplicated material: An AP test and IB exam or a college course covering the same material.

life and work experience: Including portfolio work, further education, equivalence investigations and courses offered by business and government agencies (also evaluated by American Council On Education).

Placement checks: Courses and / or unit credits awarded by another institution for placement tests or loans through examination.

Remedy / college preparation / personal development: including mathematics courses under the level of the algebra level of the college level. (Intermediate algebra, minimum requirement of USC, is not transferable.)

Non-traditional formats in two-year universities: including independent study, directed study, correspondence courses, internships and travel courses.

USC does not honor the academic "renewal" or "forgiveness" programs that enable students to improve an inferior touch. If you repeat a transferable course for which you have earned a note of D + or less, both notes will be recorded in your transfer GPA. If the note on the first course was C or higher, only the first class is included.
